Grand Junction’s young soccer players have a wide range of training opportunities this summer, thanks to a robust series of programs hosted by Fire FC. These programs are designed to elevate local talent from foundational skills to elite-level play.
Although Fire FC has yet to finalize and upload the full summer camp details to its website, we got an exclusive preview of what players can expect. The offerings include targeted clinics and development camps running from early June through late July, each built around specific elements of the game technical, tactical, mental, and physical ensuring players can find sessions that meet their level and goals.

The Finishing Clinic, held on Mondays and Fridays throughout June and July, focuses on goal-scoring techniques including volleys, long-range shots, and first-touch control. The clinic is segmented by age groups, from U11 through U19, and costs $150 per month. Players can sign up for June, July, or both.
Also running on Mondays and Fridays is Goalkeeper Training, which helps players refine position-specific skills. Goalkeepers who enroll are also invited to participate in the Finishing Clinic sessions. This dual-format allows goalkeepers to get real-time reps during striker drills. The program is priced at $75 per month.

For athletes looking to sharpen their technical skills, Skillz School meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays in July. Sessions will emphasize juggling, footwork, and ball creativity, with a cost of $150 for the full three-week program.
Evening training is available through the 9/10 Level Up Sessions, which run Tuesdays and Wednesdays in both June and July. Aimed at increasing competitive awareness and skill under pressure, these sessions are from 8:45 to 9:45 p.m., offering flexibility for busy families. This 3 weeks long June (6 sessions) and 3 weeks long July (6 sessions) are available at $150 per month.
One of the most intensive offerings is the Next Level Summer Sessions, which include nine 90-minute classes. For U11 and older. These are broken into mental, technical, and physical training blocks.
- The mental portion of the session is designed for players to spend a portion of time in a classroom discussing and going over activities to help players add to their tool kit when dealing with things such as setbacks, injuries, and mentality/drive.
- The physical portion of this program will focus on strength, speed, agility, and coordination.
- The technical portion of this program will focus on improving player’s ability to dribble, do moves, passing and receiving on the ground and in the air, finishing, and all the different elements involved in defending.
The cost is $250 for the full program, and sessions run three days a week in June.Tuesdays will be 45 minutes of mental class and 45 min of technical. Wednesdays and Thursdays will be 30 min of physical, 30 minutes of technical, and 30 minutes of implementation (tactical play).

Fire FC is also launching a new program this year: Fast and Fluid – Mastering Speed of Play and Transitions. This course focuses on player decision-making under pressure and is designed for competitive players ages U13 and up. It will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays in July and split up insto six sessions , with a $150 registration fee.
The summer training season wraps up with the Fall Kick Off Camp, set for July 28–31 at Canyon View Park. Open to both Fire FC and non-club players, this camp offers evening sessions focused on conditioning and individual ball skills, with a $155 registration fee.
Danny Molineaux, Fire FC’s technical director, confirmed in an email that program details will soon be finalized online. “We will be getting these all uploaded on the website [in the] next few days,” Molineaux stated. “The goalkeeping one might change, but other than that, everything else should be correct.”
Additionally, Molineaux confirmed Fire FC’s regular season game schedule, noting that home matches take place at Canyon View Park on weekends. “Correct, we play our home games at Canyon View Park on weekends. Away games [are] in [the] Denver area mostly,” he said.

Registration for all programs opens April 25, with deadlines ranging from June 6 to July 10, depending on the session. All indoor programs are held at 2791 Printers Court, Grand Junction, CO 81506.
