Hannah Satler, a standout pitcher for Colorado Mesa University and a dedicated coach, is not only shaping the future of softball but also empowering young girls in Mesa County as the Palisades High School Pitching Coach.

A Los Angeles native, Satler has embraced Grand Junction as her new home, where her commitment to mentoring young athletes is influential. Her journey from Los Angeles to the communities of Mesa County is a testament to the power of sports.
As a senior History major at CMU, Satler’s passion for softball began at a young age and has grown into a powerful vehicle for change. Her dual role as both an athlete and a mentor allows her to influence young lives deeply. “Softball has always been a significant part of my life, but coaching and giving private lessons have opened my eyes to how much this sport can inspire and empower,” Satler shared.

Her efforts to develop young talent has not gone unnoticed. Iliana Mendoza, a teammate and housemate at CMU, highlighted Satler’s unique approach to coaching. “Watching Hannah work with these kids is heart-warming. She doesn’t just teach them the game; she instills confidence in them,” Mendoza commented.
Satler’s impact extends beyond the softball diamond. She focuses on building life skills like confidence, discipline, and community awareness among her players. This approach has helped many of her players achieve significant athletic accolades and personal growth.
