Scattered across North America, Belgium and Japan are hidden gems known as Get Air Sports Franchise, entertainment hubs that anyone at any age can come and enjoy! Grand Junction is lucky to have their very own park. Located at 715 S 7th St, the park was bought and constructed in April all the way back in 2014. What sets this center apart from the others is that it is located in an old grain silo, therefore the park is uniquely named “Get Air at the Silo”. It remains to be a top spot for families to take their children and enjoy a day of active fun.
There is certainly no shortage of activities to keep anyone entertained for hours. Just to name a few, the Silo offers of course a trampoline court, an arcade, a foam pit, slamball, which is a variant of basketball but trampolines are added, an obstacle course and dodgeball. There will never be a dull moment when you find yourself in Get Air.

As is customary for fun parks and entertainment centers, Get Air is available to book birthday parties as well as other events. In fact, on the website, there is a whole tab dedicated to weekly events so there is always something happening that you can take part in. Joe White, the current owner of Get Air at the Silo said that business never rests at the park.
“Our business structure is very distinct in that we always have something going on. We have weekly events that we hold for the little kids like on Tuesdays and Thursdays we dedicate the hours of 10 to 12 as ‘Toddler Time’ and kids aged seven and below come jump with their parents and no one else is allowed during that time” said White. “Then we have things like ‘Student Day’ which is every Wednesday. Students can come in and if they show their school ID they get $3 off the admission price. Family Days on Mondays where parents can jump for free and then of course there’s all the birthday parties and stuff that we get to host. The kiddos keep us busy, and of course we are more than happy to oblige!”
Among some of the other notable events that Get Air hosts are “Arcade Thursdays” where you can receive a free $5 arcade pass with a two hour admission to the park, “Club Air” which is a party including music, dancing, fun and trampolines and many more events on top of those.

Such a popular spot for the children is sure to get plenty of recommendations from parents and any looking to enjoy a fun day of exercise. Khyrsten Springer, a parent who was able to bring her son Antonio in for a day of festivities, gave her input on how they were enjoying Get Air at the Silo. “ As a parent, I understand how difficult it can be to find a good time to come and enjoy a day dedicated to fun with work and school for him [my son]” said Springer. “The staff here are all so friendly and helpful, there’s so much to do, they always have some event going on that lets kids jump for free or parents jump for free or something else that helps you save a buck. It’s just so much fun, it’s a must do if you’re a parent and are looking for something fun to do with your children!”
Undoubtedly a must do in Grand Junction, regardless of age, Get Air at the Silo is one of a kind.
