Walk through exhibits give kids the chance to learn about evolution and rocks. A small aquarium is featured in the evolution exhibit, giving kids the chance to view different fish and learn about their habitats. A line of different animals are depicted in this exhibit and each animal is included with facts about it and its ancestors. A small handful of live animals are featured here, including the fish, and give kids the chance to learn about the little creatures that live around the world.
Many Grand Junction residents visit this museum to play and learn about the wonders of science, including CMU student Kiele Younkerman.
“It’s a fun place to learn new things or mess around with small science experiments,” Younkerman said. “I always have a good time coming here, even though I’m an adult.”
