In recent weeks, the vaccine was on paused because of possible concerns of blood clots.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is recommending that health departments can resume the use of the Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine. The vaccine was put on pause because of seventeen documented cases of bloods cloths, and at least one death.

Mesa County Public Health will be admitting the single-dose shot again. But CDC is warning women under 50 to be aware of rare risks. With about seven million doses of Johnson & Johnson vaccine given in the US, only a small number of those were linked to blood clots.

According to Allison Sanchez, Public Health Manager for Mesa County Public Health, says that Mesa County will have the three vaccines available for anyone who wants to be vaccinated.
