The bright green sign on the outside of the business on North and 1st Street makes Fashion Junkie hard to miss. They have different stores for children’s clothing, for men and women. They have various categories of clothing for all diverse types of people and sizes. 

Fashion Junkie is a local thrift store that has been around for over 25 years and can meet all your fashion needs without breaking your wallet. They are a fully functioning secondhand store and they even offer the opportunity to sell and make some cash for your clothes.

Being a college student can be stressful, but clothes shopping should not be especially when you shop second hand. They have everything from short sleeve shirts to long sleeve shirts, to jeans, to sweatpants, to jean shorts, to leggings.

They typically look for brands that are well-known and lower the prices. They have brands like Nike, Lululemon, North Face, Patagonia for the outdoorsy and athletic wear. And for your everyday wear they have brands like, Pacsun, American Eagle, Victoria Secret Pink.

They also sell name-brand and distinctive styles of jeans, ranging from Lucky Brand to Miss Me Jeans, at a starting price of $15. They have over 100’s of more brands they carry and sell.

Other items that Fashion Junkie offers are shoes and accessories. They have all types of shoes for all different types of occasions. They have athletic shoes like Nike, to more casual shoes in Toms to even winter boots, in Uggs. 

They are always stocking up on any accessory you may need for any special occasion. They have unique sunglasses for either everyday use or for just making a fashion statement. Fashion Junkie has you covered for all your fashion needs. 

The current location is their 3rd location in the Grand Junction area. The owner and founder, Fernando Lostalo first opened it across from Colorado Mesa University (CMU) campus next to Dominos.

“We are ranked 9th best consignment store in the whole state of Colorado”, he said.

And for those college students who want to represent their school but are not willing to buy merchandise at full price at Fashion Junkie they have a section where they sell CMU gear for a good deal. They have both men and women styles. From hoodies to t-shirts ranging from $10 to $20. They make shopping easier and less of a hassle at Fashion Junkie.

Check out Fashion Junkie daily and see all their new arrivals. They are open 7 days a week. Monday through Saturday they are open from 9:30am to 5:30pm, and on Sundays they are hours are from 11am to 4pm.
