Mark your calendars, the Mesa County Fair is back this summer. July 13-17 will be a week you won’t want to miss.

Covid-19 has caused a setback for everything in our normal routines. But, as summer rolls around and people become more comfortable leaving their homes, the county fair has decided to return.

“People are excited to get out and do stuff. – The fear is going away.” Kyle Carstens fairgrounds manager said.

This fair is going to be unlike anything Mesa County has seen before. Between the 4H showcase, food venders, bull riding, and monster trucks, the fair has decided to add some new and exciting features.

There will be 19 acers of live music and carnival rides. “The largest and cleanest carnival from California is coming out.” Carstens said.

“We are excited to show off some local talents.” Carstens said. The live music will be all local bands.

The weeks schedule will go like this:

During the day time the carnival will be in full swing along with other shows such as a trapeze act, chainsaw juggling act, and dog show event. This dog show event has been showed on ESPN and will be at the fair. Locals can bring their dogs to participate. Participants can test their dog’s ability to jump high and far. As for the evenings:

  • Wednesday: FREE community dancing
  • Thursday: Bull Riding
  • Friday/Saturday: Monster trucks

Grab your family, friends and even furry friends and join the rest of Mesa County at the Mesa County Fair this July.
