As permanent makeup has become more of a trend, Grand Junction has the perfect spot for anyone to receive the best treatment to be able to wake up every day with a flawless makeup look without all of the extra work.

Flawless Glo, a local permanent beauty clinic, specializes in a variety of different permanent beauty services that include eyebrow microblading, permanent eyeliner and permanent lip treatments.

The owner of the beauty clinic, Theresa Lopez, is the talent behind the permanent beauty services. Eyebrow microblading is her most popular and favorite procedure to perform as she sees a boost of confidence in her clients right after.

“It’s a huge transformation especially with ones that come in with no eyebrows and it’s instant gratification, so I think that’s what people really like,” Lopez said. “They walk in here with no eyebrows and by the time they leave you can see that boost of confidence.”

Lopez first started her permanent makeup career five years ago as “Flawless by Theresa”. Her business started out in a room she was renting out then led to the opening of her own business at a small location on North Ave. She finally ended up at an even bigger location where Flawless Glo has currently been at for about two years.

As Flawless Glo tends to be booked out a few months in advance, COVID-19 had an impact on the business like many others. After a six-week closing period due to the pandemic, once doors were back open, clients were eager to re-book their appointments.

“I think we never really realized how important personal services are. I think that everybody was eager to get back and get beautified, so people were jumping in it and I was busy, busy,” said Lopez.

Flawless Glo also made the Mesa County Five Star Variance Program, a program that recognizes businesses in Mesa County for following the regulations necessary to help slow the spread of COVID-19. According to Lopez, cleanliness and disinfecting are practices that the business has always taken pride in even before the pandemic.

“After each client, we’re constantly disinfecting the high trafficked areas and just making sure that we’re always keeping the client’s safety in mind,” Lopez said.

Microblading services at Flawless Glo range from $450 – $500 depending on the type of look you want. According to their website, there are two types of looks you can get. An eyebrow-combinator/ombre for the classic makeup look or digital microblading which includes hair strokes to give your eyebrows a more natural look.

Other permanent makeup services at Flawless Go include eyeliner and lip treatment. The eyeliner procedure could be done on both the top and bottom lids or the eyelids of your choice. The lip treatment adds permanent color to your lips without having to put lipstick on every day.

The permanent makeup procedures take about two hours to complete. They require a $50 non-refundable booking fee deposit, which can later be applied as a credit to your follow-up appointment if booked within one to six months.

Aside from permanent makeup, Flawless Glo does offer other services which include eyelash, skin, hair and waxing services. According to Lopez, there are a few new beauty services coming up this summer, stay tuned on their Instagram page to find out what those might be.
