Grand Junction received some long-awaited news early Monday morning: Country Jam is officially happening this summer. With the Coronavirus vaccines rolling out around Colorado, it looks like the event is in the clear after being cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic. From Thursday, June 24 to Saturday, June 26 Grand Junction will finally be rocking again.

Country Jam is a beloved event hosted in the Grand Valley every summer. It’s a three-day music festival jam-packed with famous country headliners, new talent, and more each night. While many come just for the music, Country Jam does offer camping passes for dedicated fans who want three whole days of fun. The campgrounds are full of food trucks, carnival rides, alcohol, and plenty of dancing.

The 2020 festival was originally scheduled for Thursday, June 18 to Saturday, June 21. Country artists Kane Brown, Dan and Shay, Carrie Underwood, and Toby Keith were slated to be it’s headliners before the event was cancelled. Carrie Underwood and Toby Keith will be returning as headliners this year, followed by Luke Combs.

Anyone interested in attending Country Jam 2021 is encouraged to act fast. This event is infamous for selling out quickly, and especially after a year hiatus, the hype surrounding the 2021 festival has already surpassed expectations.

“When I went to Country Jam, I enjoyed hearing some of my favorite artists and some up-and-coming ones as well. It’s a fun-filled weekend with great music and great people,” said Michael Bacciarini, a seasoned Country Jam alum. “I’m excited for Country Jam to be back in 2021 with incredible headliners.”
